To be clear – these are Project cars! No mention of price but it sounds like they might be reasonably priced. This sounds like a classic case of someone with good intentions on restoring cars, but has come to the realization that they just won’t get done.
The cars are as follows (description supplied to me by the seller whom I have not spoken with):
- 1955 MG TF – in pieces but complete except for exhaust. Rebuilt motor in 1978 by an Edmonton firm, frame sandblasted, bodywork and wood done. All parts purchased and new top. Grille repaired but needs re-chroming. Disassembled since 1978.
- Austin Healy 100-6 – 2 cars indoors and one body outside. Sold in parts with extra frame Enough parts to make a complete car with lots left over (wire wheels also). Engine not installed but rebuilt professionally by an Edmonton firm.
- 1961 Jaguar Mark 2 – series 3,4 with standard transmission. Painted in 1990 and last driven about that date, but not running since (fuel pump problems). Stored inside since purchased in 1986.
Cars are located in Camrose Alberta. Contact Milt Gilbertson at “pezenas.fr” at “gmail.com”.
